It is essential that we, at Auberge Madeleine, create a climate wherein each resident may express herself and be active in group life.


There are many activities throughout the year, including thematic workshops as well as special events. However the more regularly scheduled one is the game called "Strata-débrouille".



The newsletter "Juste pour Elles"

Since the spring of 1999, the residents of the Auberge have had their own newsletter, "Juste pour elles". It was the inspiration of one of our ex-residents. For now, the paper is distributed only to residents.

The game "Strata-débrouille"

The game "Strata-débrouille" resulted from a research project targetting a better grasp of self-help strategies for those who come to the Auberge, strategies that will allow them to face difficulties in various areas of their lives: health concerns, interpersonal relations, justice, and lodging. Through the game, the players become aware of their strengths and their capabilities. In addition, discussion among the participants generates special moments of dawning comprehension, of closeness and of solidarity.
